This is an appeal to donate for Miss Anju Mohan, a 16 yr old girl diagnosed with poor growth since early childhood. This medical condition is due to Growth Hormone Deficiency. The treatment was deferred because her family couldnt afford it. Growth hormone is the principal hormone influencing growth, and children with GH deficiency remain very short unless treated at the right time. Since she is from a very poor family (parents are unemployed due to health problems) she can not afford further treatment. With the help of others they managed to give her GH treatment but stopped due to lack of funds after 6 months. She is in 12th std now yet her height is only that of child studying in 2 nd std. Since she is so short, she can not even carry her school bag.
